In October of 2015, Silverman Photography Workshops and Frank Bevans Photography combined forces. The Workshop descended on the laid-back Gold Country for a wonderful photographic adventure.
The participants were treated to the historic gold rush town of Sutter's Mill, Georgetown and Coloma along with the fall colors of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
Last year's workshop was such a great experience that we are doing it again this year. Please join us!
Exploring the Gold Country of California 2016
October 19, (6 pm) to October 23 (noon)
Explore the California gold country this fall. From the American River to high mountain lakes in the Sierras, this workshop will explore the very special scenic landscapes of the northern California gold country. Using historic Georgetown and Garden Valley as our base camp, we will explore the American River’s scenic waterways, visit the fall colors of the Hope Valley, Silver Lake, Caples Lake and Woods Lake, and capture many “back alley” historical landmarks and landscapes.
Additionally, students will have access to the studio of Frank Bevans Photography where we will explore and create still life and portrait work using studio lighting and hand painting techniques.
